singles-friendly workplaces.

and questionnaire to the Human
Resource Manager for a response.
We are asking several questions to determine if the companys
personnel policies and benefits programs are fair to unmarried employees.
The results of the employer survey will be published in the future
on our website.
Union Survey
We will send a similar survey to the national headquarters of many
large unions, such as AFSCME, SEIU, UAW, Teamsters, AFL-CIO, etc.
Single workers are entitled to fair representation when it comes to
bargaining for benefits and working conditions.
Are these unions taking the needs of unmarried
workers into consideration at the bargaining table? How do the unions treat their own unmarried
employees?
Does the union itself have a nondiscrimination policy that includes
marital status?
