Biography:
L. Joan Allen, author of "Celebrating Single and
Getting Love Right: From Stalemate to Soulmate", is
an expert on singles and a relationship coach. She has appeared on national
television and radio
programs including NPR, Media Matters, Radio America, Comcast Cable
and Public Television.

 

The founder of Celebrating Single Seminars, Allen presents cooking, relationship, and writing workshops for single men and women around the country. Currently she teaches cooking classes for singles at Whole Foods Markets in the Washington Metropolitan Area and at national book chains including Barnes & Noble and Borders.

  She also teaches Celebrating Single Creative Writing classes at Notre Dame College in Baltimore.

Ms. Allen graduated with an English Degree and she now teaches corporate scriptwriting, screenwriting, and writing film reviews.
