The American Civil Liberties Union is the nation's  foremost advocate of individual rights and equal justice, and leading guardian against unwarranted government interference and abuse. The National Office of the ACLU has endorsed National USA Week. View Letter.

The National Organization for Women (NOW) promotes equal rights and responsibilities for women in all aspects of citizenship, public service, employment, education and family life, including freedom from discrimination because of race, ethnic origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, and freedom of choice in parenthood.

The Alternatives to Marriage Project (Boston, MA) is a national nonprofit organization advocating for equality and fairness for unmarried people, including people who choose not to marry, cannot marry, or live together before marriage.
 Fresno Friends (Clovis, CA) helps people in the Fresno area to develop stronger friendships with other people with similar interests.  The group offers social and recreational opportunities for its members.
                        
 Single Mothers by Choice (New York, NY) provides support and information to single women who are considering, or who have chosen, single motherhood.  Most of their members are career women in their thirties and forties, whose ticking of their biological clocks has caused them to consider that they could no longer wait for marriage before starting a family.
 Reach Out Magazine (Hollywood, FL) is more than just a Web magazine, it's a meeting place for people with disABILITIES all over the world.
Singles For Charities (Syosset, NY) is a nonprofit organization created to provide singles from communities the opportunity to participate in charitable and community service activities.
Co-abode is an attempt to provide what single moms want. We need to connect. We want to verbalize the loneliness, the fear and frustration. Through sharing our experiences we can educate each other on how to survive a broken marriage, and how to rise to the challenge of caring for our children alone.
