British law firm opens a club for divorcing
clients
A story released today by Divorce-Online reports that one of the UK's
leading divorce lawyers, Leeds-based Marilyn Stowe, is launching an
innovative after-care club for men and women going through divorce or family
law proceedings.
Called Chrysalis, the club is believed to be the first of its kind run by a
law firm.
The firm hopes that Chrysalis will provide an environment for those who have
been through difficult family situations to meet and share their experiences
with others.
"Divorce and family proceedings can be a distressing and bruising
experience.
"They can turn your world upside-down, leaving you worried and nervous about
a future that suddenly seems threatening and uncertain," says Marilyn.
"Once the legal proceedings are out of the way you have the chance to build
a new life, to create a fresh beginning."
Chrysalis will offer help with issues including:
- New relationships and second marriages
- Children and stepchildren
- Law relating to will, trusts, financial planning for the future
