Connecting singles in Denver is a full time business

A story released today by Business Wire reports that with nearly half of Colorado’s population unmarried, and ranked Number 1 for having the most highly educated people in the country and Number 2 for the most white-collar workers, it is one of the best places in America to be single.

Yet professional singles have an extremely difficult time finding each other, according to Leslie Lessig, President and owner of It's Just Lunch!, a Denver-based matchmaking service for busy professionals.

It's Just Lunch! is the only service that performs hand-selected matches, makes the date reservations, and utilizes feedback from each date to fine-tune clients' future matches. They juggle clients' busy schedules to make sure dates are scheduled when it's convenient for both members. Members applaud the service for its casual, no-pressure approach. It's discreet: No last names, no phone numbers -- unless the members want to exchange them after the date.

"We specialize in matching people who are at similar places in their lives -- we find highly compatible people and bring them together," says Lessig.

"If there is no chemistry on a date, our members have still made a new friend. There's no pressure -- after all, it's just lunch!" adds Lessig.
