Brits love single life
A story published today by the Mirror reports that nearly 3.5 million Britons aged 25 to
44 are single - and 90 per cent couldn't be happier.
Almost two-thirds had previously been in a relationship for two years and a third had a
partner for more than five years.
Yet only 10 per cent are miserable on their own, a survey reveals.
Thirty eight per cent live with family, 10 per cent with friends, 23 per cent with their
children and 27 per cent alone.
Of the 309 people quizzed by Channel 5, 56 per cent said they had recently had sex. Nearly
half the women branded marriage out of date.
