Unmarried America is the membership division of AASP, a nonprofit and
tax-exempt organization. |
There are several types of membership in Unmarried America:
Regular
member . . . . . . $25
donation. Regular members receive full access to
our website, including members-only areas such as "Recent News" and our
"Advice and Resources" section. They also automatically
receive a keychain with our logo and mini-light. Several times a year they also
receive our newsletters and reprints of pertinent news stories in the
postal mail. This level of donation helps to cover our overhead
costs in producing and mailing printed materials.
Supporting member . . . . $50
donation. In addition to the same benefits as
regular members, supporting members receive a t-shirt with our logo on
it. This larger donation
helps to support our educational and advocacy programs.
Benefactor . . . . . . . . . . . $100 donation.
In addition to the same benefits as supporting members, benefactors also may select a free book from a list of
recently published books for solo singles, unmarried couples, single
parents, people who are divorced or widowed. Our programs can grow
and be more effective as more benefactors join Unmarried America.
Leadership
Circle . . . . . .
$250
donation. In
addition to the same benefits as benefactors, donors in the Leadership
Circle receive monthly bulletins updating them on the progress we are
making as we implement our educational and advocacy programs.
E-member
. . . . . . . . . . . . $10 donation. A limited
form of membership is available to people who make a $10 donation.
E-members are entitled to full access to our website, including the
online version of our newsletter. However, they do not receive
printed materials in the mail because the cost of production and mailing
of these materials exceeds the amount of a $10 donation.
